We're going in for the advertised $19.99 oil change, but you won't believe the charges we end up with. And did they even do the work? People are still dumb enough to take their rigs to quick lube shops? John Stossel has been on TV for like 30 years folks.

isnt it better to do whatever your car needs yourself? i dont pay 40 dollars for something that takes less than 20 minutes to do.

And this is one huge reason why I took up auto tech in 2001.
I was so tired of seeing my family getting ripped off by crooked humans.

You know what's really a scam? $90 for a goddamn oil change for a 2015 Chrysler 200.

Literally a Gallon of 0w20 Synthetic is $90. Had I known that before hand, I wouldn't have bought this car...

So basically the first Lady came in for a $20 oil change and ended up paying 184$ for nothing but an oil change. I would have said show me. Show me the discoloration and see how he talk his way out of that lie.

Unfortunately corruption is so widespread throughout our economy, politics, law enforcement etc. people no longer have any ethics or conscience.

I got ripped off at the Toyota dealership. They were supposed to change the oil and after I told them I was going to go check somewhere else and see if it was done. They got nervous and said you can’t tell if the oil has been changed by the dip stick!!! Unbelievable.

It's funny that they never do a hidden camera investigation on lawyers, or politicians or maybe insurance companies? How about that for an episode? Or are tradesmen the only scammers in the country?
