For those who have watched the WHOLE video please let me know your favourite car or scene. First check to see if someone else has already mentioned the same thing, and if so like their comment instead. That way I will be able to tell what you would like to see more of at the next motor show. BTW I made an error with the price of the Koenigsegg Jesko - it's £2.3M not £23M. Sorry 🤦🏼‍♂️.

The AMG GT R Roadster is also pretty darn Awesome, absolutely a car I would purchase if I won the lottery....When....Shame its neither an electric nor hybrid vehicle though. Perhaps I would choose the PIECH instead, that looks pretty darn awesome, Mat, Please review the Piech Mark Zero, great name too Peach...

Many really nice vehicles, practicality wise though, my favourite would have to be the Audi E-Tron GT concept car, the grey one. I can't wait for that to be released and reviewed by Mat.

WARNING check out my "Approved Used Skoda Nightmare" - on YouTube before you buy a lemon like I did from Meadens Skoda. Approved Used Skoda Nightmare -

Why Internal Combustion Engine Powered Cars Are Obsolete

Curious about electric vehicles? Here’s a few very good reasons why you should consider getting one: Skoda is on this Lemon list: The top 20 worst cars to buy in 2019 according to AutoExpert John Cadogan

RAC guide to the Best electric cars for 2019:

Tesla only make electric cars and are the world leader in EV technology:

Electric cars eliminate tailpipe emissions, and when paired with clean, renewable electricity generation have the potential to significantly slash our individual carbon footprints. Rooftop solar systems allow homeowners to take control of the emissions stemming from home life. Wind turbines are increasingly responsible for the electricity generation for millions of homes around the world. These transitions are not small, they are not insignificant. Each and every one of them is worth celebrating and moves the world closer to a more sustainable future. Utility-scale solar plus storage is competitive with incumbent electricity generation technologies, even in regions of the world as unlikely as Massachusetts.

The total cost of ownership of a Tesla Model 3 is comparable to the cost of the most popular combustion vehicles being sold today, and that’s only going to improve over time as battery costs continue to fall and volumes go up. Incumbent industries are fighting against this surge of new, cleaner technologies with a flood of misinformation and fake news that repurposes the very same tactics used by the tobacco industry to lie to the public about its products. The only difference with the oil industry is that it is not only harming the individuals using its products, but rather, the entire planet. Burning hydrocarbons changes the planet. It has changed the planet and it will continue to do so as long as we continue pumping oil products up from under the surface of the earth and introducing more carbon into the air, into the surface carbon cycle.

Safest car in the USA (and coming to the UK this summer 2019): The Tesla Model 3. It has the best NHTSA safety score in history, with the score essentially covering likelihood of severe injury or death in an accident.

Dieselgate: Diesel is a dirty word among car buyers following the so-called dieselgate scandal in 2015, when it emerged that Volkswagen (which includes Skoda) had cheated regulators and misled customers by using software to suppress emissions of nitrogen oxide during vehicle tests. Since the scandal erupted, carmakers have rushed towards production of “cleaner” electric cars. Plummeting sales of diesel cars have driven Britain’s auto industry to the brink of a crisis, with the axe falling on thousands of manufacturing jobs, and dealerships threatened with savage restructuring.

The European Commission has notified VW, BMW, and Daimler of its preliminary view that they engaged in illegal anti-competitive practices between 2006–2014, keeping diesel engines dirty. The automakers now have the right to defend themselves, but if found guilty, they face fines of up to 10% of global annual revenue ($26 billion for VW alone).

Pollution costs the every country hundreds of billions of dollars a year, including countless premature deaths and horrible illnesses and suffering. Fossil fuels aren’t even cost-competitive any longer in much of the market. Fossil fuels continue to get ginormous subsidies from governments — the epitome of harmful, stifling, costly government subsidies. We are heating up the Earth’s climate so quickly that we may not be able to stop the runaway heating and society-collapsing consequences in a few short years (12 years by some counts). There are ways to quicken our inevitable transition to clean technology (solar energy, wind energy, and electric vehicles). But politicians are blocking those solutions.

Tesla Model 3 vs. BMW 3 Series in Germany 3 × Better Model 3 Could Save Owner €10,000 in 5 Years

April 14th, 2019 Alex Voigt re Tesla electric cars: There is simply not one other single car, be it electric or not, that is available today and has this impressive promise to improve over time (and perhaps even appreciate in value).

“Buying a car today is an investment into the future. I think the most profound thing is that if you buy a Tesla today, I believe you are buying an appreciating asset – not a depreciating asset (due to the self-driving AI)."

Tesla Model 3 Quicker Than a Hellcat or AMG

Volkswagen gave a rare nod to a competitor, Tesla, for “‘proving electric cars are here to stay.” Now the head of Volkswagen in America, he told the same audience this week that they are going electric.

“Even if it’s 10 percent of the market, we want to pursue it,”

He also acknowledged the success of the Tesla Model 3 and said:

“We have not seen in the history of the auto business, a company going from zero to fourth place in luxury in a matter of a few years.”

Tesla has quickly become a top auto luxury brand in the US and in other markets with only 3 models available for sale.

Last year, Model 3 officially becomes the best-selling premium vehicle in the US.

After only dabbling in electric vehicles with compliance cars, the Volkswagen group is now looking to seriously move into the electric vehicle space as it attempts to refresh its image following the Dieselgate scandal.

The US Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy cites several benefits to driving an electric vehicle of which the general public may not be aware.

 Because electric motors react quickly, EVs are very responsive and have very good torque.

 EVs are often more digitally connected than conventional vehicles, with many EV charging stations providing the option to control charging from a smartphone app.

 Just like a smartphone, you can plug in your EV when you get home and have it ready for you to use the next morning.

 Since the electric grid is available almost anywhere, there are a variety of options for charging: at home, at work, or on the road.

 By charging often, you may never need to go to a gas station again.

 EVs can help the United States have a greater diversity of fuel choices available for transportation.

 EVs help reduce a threat that results from our reliance on petroleum, which makes the nation vulnerable to price spikes and supply disruptions — almost all US electricity is produced from domestic sources.

 EVs can also reduce the emissions that contribute to climate change and smog, improving public health and reducing ecological damage.

 Charging your EV on renewable energy such as solar or wind minimizes these emissions even more.
