I'm with Candice...I just cannot believe the power of water. Just so crazy the realization when she opened that drawer.

In response to Jake's comment at 9:40, crying is a powerful emotion that is not usually shared among men. I think that's as it should be, because when it is, deeper understanding can happen.

As a veteran myself, I just wanted to thank you for highlighting Team Rubicon and the support that they provide our fellow veterans, to me it's all about veterans helping veterans...

I have some really close friends that I consider family live fairly close to that same bayou and remember talking to them and hearing the friend I was talking to get scared the very first time in the 18 years that I've known him and that convinced me to drive down from Minnesota and help them and anyone else that needed it out of their house and make sure that these people I've known for a long time were okay. The devastation was unbelievable. One memory I'll never forget that's for sure.

@CaseyNeistat I realize this is a bit late, but I'm so sorry to see the damage you all had to clean up. I hope Candice's parents have been able to fully recover. Your help was very much appreciated. That's actually the same neighborhood I live in and clean up took months and is still going on today. Unfortunately, my apartment complex told all of us without almost any notice that we have to move out because the city is condemning it due to repeated flood damage. I hope Candice's parents have moved to a less flood-prone part of Houston, because it happens so frequently and is extremely expensive to recover from. You should ask Candice for me if she knows of any places in Houston that are affordable for a desperate and broke college student! No but in all seriousness, I hope your family has fully recovered from the flooding, you have Houston's love and support.
