Word of warning for potential Mercedes owners (I have a C63 AMG........ rocketship), if something goes bang and you don't have a warranty, you better pucker up cos they ain't cheap to fix........... I've seen repair bills into the mid to high thousands. I'm British and Germany is not far away, sometimes people actually go over there with their Merc on a towtruck and get it repaired because the parts are so much less expensive.

Regarding the 'peculiar' item/spacing in the infotainment system (timepoint 13:31-13:51) indeed the spacing may seem odd etc., but make no mistake: Germans never ever design things that are "random" and willy nilly. Though I don't know the reason for the menu selection spacing as shown in the video, I assure you Doug - it is absolutely, positively, not random. There's a reason - however logical to us Americans or not - but there is a reason.

Remember these are the folks that decades ago had a friendly competition with American engineers - who could design and produce the 'finest' metal point (like on a pin but smaller of course). The American team produced their best 'smallest point' and sent the sample to the German team to 'beat'. Well, American team technically 'won' because the Germans didn't produce a metal 'point' sample at all. Instead . . .

. . . they sent the American team back the American's own sample with a hole drilled through it . E.g., Germans message to Americans: " Nuff said "

Great review love your videos
Just want to point out. Us europeans dont need cup holders. We don’t drink crappy MCD coffee in our car. We go to a beautiful cafe and drink cappuccino :-) so cup holders are really ugly and unnecessary accessories.

Sounds great! The Circuit board go out in this mof.. $2100.00 for Diagnostics test. $23,000.00 to replace the circuit board. $8000 .00 for labor. For A unlucky mof. Then you could have no problem with it, it's Aways a gamble when you buying damaged goods🤷🏾‍♂️
